Job Opportunity: Senior Field Technician

Vault Minerals is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Field Technician to support our geology team in open-pit and underground operations. Our dynamic company, with a strategic position to unlock value and expand operations, is looking for an individual who can contribute to our success.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this senior role will be to assist mine geologists with field duties, data collection, and collation, as well as developing and implementing systems and procedures for surface activities. Additionally, you will lead the technician team to develop and improve grade control procedures and mentor junior technicians to enhance their skills.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Geology Technician
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2020
  • Proficient computer literacy skills and experience with logging databases
