Geology Technician Role

We are currently establishing the commencement of underground operations at our Dalgaranga gold mine, with resource definition and geological activities increasing. Reporting to the Geology Technician Leading Hand, you will be responsible for supporting geologists in marking out ore and waste zones and visually identifying ore during pit excavation.

You will manage sample collection and logistics associated with Grade Control drilling activities, monitor and sample stockpiles to verify correct material classification and blending, maintain and calibrate field tools, and ensure sampling equipment is clean and operational.

You will also input geological data accurately and promptly into databases or software systems, process drill core samples including orientation, cutting, photographing, and portable X-ray (pXRF) devices, and collaborate with geologists, engineers, and production teams to ensure efficient and effective open-pit operations.
