Geology Leadership Opportunity

  • A highly skilled Geology leader is required to oversee exploration activities across company projects.

About the Role

  • This role will involve developing strategic plans and budgets for exploration programs, as well as leading a team of Senior / Exploration Geoscientists & Field Technicians.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying initial and advanced exploration targets, interfacing with production and development teams to evaluate opportunities.
  • Mine geology exposure including brownfields exploration experience is desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will have a degree in Geology or Geoscience and significant demonstrated experience in a similar geology leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans and budgets for exploration programs.
  • Lead a team of Senior / Exploration Geoscientists & Field Technicians, overseeing drilling/exploration programs and contractor management.
  • Identify initial and advanced exploration targets, interfacing with production and development teams to evaluate opportunities.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified - Geology or Geoscience.
  • Significant demonstrated experience in a similar geology leadership role.
  • Mine geology exposure including brownfields exploration experience is desirable.
