Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at The NRMA. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to company guidelines and customer preferences.
  • Liaise with food service staff and management to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, including proper storage of food, equipment, and utensils.
  • Conduct daily temperature checks of fridges, freezers, and storage areas, and record assessments as necessary.
  • Clean, sanitize, and disinfect all kitchen areas according to daily cleaning schedules.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or club kitchen.
  • Certificate in commercial cookery.
  • Working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety.
  • Highly effective verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to achieving kitchen goals.
