Job Title:

Experienced Building Code Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial construction projects to ensure compliance with building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects to identify any deviations from building codes.
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building regulations.
  • Document findings and provide detailed reports to clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues identified during inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida (FS 468) Standard Inspector license or equivalent.
  • Multi-trade certification is a plus but not required.
  • Expertise in Mechanical, Plumbing, Building, and Electrical systems sought.
  • Minimum five years of experience in inspections or construction required.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
  • Personal vehicle required.
  • Ability to climb a ladder is required.
  • Proficiency in computer software and hardware.
