About this role:
As a WHS professional, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to leaders and employees across the organisation. You will manage incident response, investigations and risk management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and minimising legal and reputational exposure.
You will develop and deliver training, resources and tools to embed best practice and compliance within the organisation. This will involve fostering strong stakeholder relationships with regulators, government bodies and industry partners.
Additionally, you will proactively identify emerging risks and advise on crisis readiness and due diligence obligations. You will also support litigation, insurance claims and regulatory matters with professionalism and rigour.
Overseeing external consultants to ensure quality advice, service delivery and budget control is also an essential part of this role.
Key responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
- 5+ years' experience in WHS management or similar compliance-driven role
- Drivers licence
- Experience in regulatory compliance, working with Government Authorities
- Experience developing and implementing audit and governance processes and policies
- Significant experience in health and safety within civil infrastructure, transport and logistics and/or large construction projects
