Part-Time Island Nurse

Hamilton Island is a tropical paradise, and we're seeking an experienced and dedicated nurse to join our island practice. As a part-time Practice Nurse, you'll be an integral part of our close-knit team, providing essential healthcare services to the community.

Your Role:

  • Provide hands-on patient care, including wound management, immunisations, health checks, and preventive services.
  • Collaborate on chronic disease management plans and wellness programs.
  • Deliver health education and guidance to empower patients in managing their health.
  • Engage with patients in a diverse role that fosters strong relationships in a close-knit community.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • 2+ years of experience in general practice or a similar clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with patients.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to patient care.
  • Team spirit, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic island setting.
