Food Service Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Assistant to provide high-quality food and exceptional dining service to our residents.

  • Prepare and assist with meal preparation, ensuring a high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Provide a positive and supportive dining experience for residents, responding to their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for delivering exceptional care and service to the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent qualification.
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with diverse individuals.
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
