About This Role

This position offers the opportunity to join a dedicated team as a Catering Assistant, contributing to the provision of high-quality food and dining services for residents. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every resident enjoys a delicious and satisfying meal experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. If you are passionate about delivering outstanding care and have a keen interest in hospitality, this may be the ideal role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and serving of meals, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality.

  • Providing excellent customer service, responding to resident needs and concerns, and building positive relationships with colleagues and residents.

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent qualification desirable but not essential.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • A passion for delivering high-quality care and service to residents, with a focus on dignity and respect.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
