Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive intake services for culturally and linguistically diverse individuals. The successful candidate will work closely with the Coordinator and treatment team to support prospective clients during the intake stage.

Key responsibilities include managing enquiries/referrals, assessing suitability, and providing waitlist support. You will also oversee client intake procedures, maintain accurate records, schedule appointments, and ensure efficient information flow within the program.

Collaboration with team members to streamline intake processes and enhance service effectiveness is crucial. Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for managing intake documentation, tracking client progress, and generating reports.

We are looking for a proactive and resourceful individual committed to delivering excellence in client intake services, supporting positive outcomes for CALD communities.

Key Skills and Experiences

  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment, including proficiency in managing client records, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds, with a strong understanding of cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse perspectives and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing administrative tasks, including data entry, documentation, and record-keeping, to ensure compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of the current context of AOD treatment in NSW, including Clinical Care Standards.
  • Ability to engage with CALD individuals and communities.
  • Multilingual abilities (speaks language(s) other than English).
