Business Development Professional

The primary objective of this role is to drive sales volume, margin, and product group objectives by taking ownership of the region's growth and retention strategy.

  • Maintain a high level of customer-focused activity, serving key customers on the road as much as possible.
  • Deliver market-leading service and support to commercial clients in your region.
  • Skillfully move customers through the sales process by selling the value of products, utilizing negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • Collaborate closely with local staff, fellow sales team members, and industry stakeholders to build a supporting network.
  • Maintain relevant data in our system and produce coherent reports that demonstrate knowledge and strategic plans for your region.
About You
  • Demonstrated sales experience from any industry with strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong desire to serve customers, motivation to deliver high levels of daily activity, and passion for sales.
  • Enjoy being out of the office in front of people, take initiative, and be self-starters with good time management skills.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, personal presentation, and ability to work independently.
  • Want to own your own region's success, be responsible for significant customer revenue, empowered to 'do the deal', and hungry to win.
  • A clean and valid driver's license is a must-have.
  • Locally based candidates are highly desirable.
