Geotechnical Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for complex geotechnical challenges.

  • Plan, manage site investigations, laboratory testing and health and safety requirements
  • Conduct geotechnical analysis and design foundations, retention systems, earthworks and seismic assessments for buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Interpret ground conditions and prepare technical reports and geotechnical documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality geotechnical solutions
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with or working towards a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering)
  • Eligibility for chartership
  • 3-4 years experience in geotechnical design and construction with sound knowledge of ground conditions
  • Ability to deliver geotechnical solutions using industry-standard software and engineering judgement
  • Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Motivation to lead and support others in a fast-paced environment
