Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Tailings Engineer to support our clients' tailings and mine waste management teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering and experience working with clients in the mining industry.

  • Design and implement civil/geotechnical/tailings dam systems;
  • Perform geotechnical analyses using various software packages;
  • Apply tailing deposition modeling techniques (Muk3D);
  • Develop and manage instrumentation monitoring systems;
  • Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications;

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field;
  • Proven experience in the mining industry, specifically in tailings management;
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in software packages such as Muk3D;
  • Excellent communication and project management skills;
