Geotechnical Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our delivery teams with geotechnical investigations, assessments and site inspections.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting geotechnical investigations, assessments and site inspections
  • Conducting fieldwork and laboratory testing as required
  • Analyzing data and preparing technical reports
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project delivery

Becoming a Geotechnical Engineer

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical assessment of earthworks and pavements
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams

Skill Set Required

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical skill set, including:

  • Geotechnical engineering software proficiency (e.g. Rocscience, FLAC)
  • Technical writing and reporting skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
