About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our team at KU Children's Services. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention supports for children aged birth to 7 years, across NSW and Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain respectful relationships with families and other stakeholders
  • Support the developmental needs of children through play-based learning environments
  • Administer and score a range of assessments, and provide feedback to families
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide comprehensive support to children and families
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's communication and language skills
Requirements
  • Australian recognized tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children
  • Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments
  • Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases
  • Meticulous time management and organisation skills
  • Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
  • A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain
