The Ubank Application Support Specialist is a vital position responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our suite of applications. Reporting directly to the Banking and Enterprise Applications Manager, this role plays a crucial part in driving operational efficiency and meeting the needs of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities- Collaborative Support: Work closely with IT and business units to guarantee applications meet operational requirements and support business objectives.
- Process Optimisation: Contribute to efforts aimed at enhancing processes and adhering to best practices in maintenance, support, and deployment of applications, striving for service excellence.
- Application Maintenance: Provide essential support and maintenance for applications, including routine updates and patch applications to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- System Environment Optimisation: Offer recommendations for optimising application environments to improve performance and reliability based on observed trends and issues.
- Third-Party Liaison: Support interactions with third-party vendors and solution providers to ensure integrated services work seamlessly and meet performance standards.
- Support Recovery and Continuity Efforts: Aid in developing and implementing recovery and business continuity plans to reduce downtime and ensure quick service restoration in case of disasters.
- Risk Identification and Compliance Support: Assist in identifying operational risks and ensuring applications compliance with relevant standards and regulations to protect business operations.
- Banking and Financial Services Experience: A strong background in banking and financial services is essential for this role.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with CRM systems, Genesys Cloud, HCM, or Banking Systems is required.
- Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication skills are necessary for success in this position.
- IT Infrastructure and Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, software development life cycles, and regulatory compliance in the financial industry is expected.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL 4, COBIT, or CISM are preferred but not mandatory.
- Hybrid Working Model: Enjoy a hybrid working model with three days in our central Sydney CBD office located above Wynyard station.
