Cost Management Expert for Data Centre Projects

About the Role:

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to support our Data Centre projects in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert cost management services, including cost estimates, quantity take-off, value engineering, tendering and evaluation, progress claims, and final account close-out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage cost plans, including estimating and cost planning;
  • Conduct measurements of building elements for cost planning purposes;
  • Engage with market stakeholders to obtain quotations/pricing for cost estimates;
  • Manage progress claims and variation assessments/valuations;
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective cost management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field;
  • 5-7 years of postgraduate experience in cost management;
  • Membership or pathway to membership with AIQS or RICS;
  • Experience with CostX preferred; and
  • Data Centre experience ideal but not required.

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience.
