About This Role

This Associate/Senior Cost Manager position will support Data centre projects in Sydney, focusing on post-contract activities.

You'll work closely with the team on various aspects of projects including cost estimates, quantity take-off, value engineering, tendering, progress claims, variation assessments, final account close-out, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide senior-level support to the team on all project aspects, including cost planning, estimating, and measurement.
  2. Estimate costs and prepare final cost plans, ensuring accurate measurements and data analysis.
  3. Engage with external market participants to obtain quotations and pricing for cost estimates.
  4. Conduct progress claim and variation assessments, valuations, and evaluations.
  5. Support the team in delivering high-quality results, meeting project deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.

Requirements

  • Quantity Surveying or related degree
  • 5-7 years post-graduate experience
  • Australia Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) membership or pathway to membership
  • Experience with CostX software is preferred
  • Data Centre experience is ideal but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
