Job Overview:
We are seeking a Claims Officer to manage and process travel insurance claims while providing an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of claims efficiently, prioritizing according to regulatory requirements and departmental processes.
- Provide clear, accurate, and empathetic communication to customers, guiding them through their claims journey.
- Review, assess, and process travel claims, considering policy terms, conditions, and regulatory requirements.
- Make informed decisions on claim assessments that align with policy/product conditions and benefits.
- Accurately calculate benefit payments, taking into account policy limits and excesses.
- Ensure data accuracy across all claims management systems.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- 12 months+ of experience in an Insurance or Financial Services role, preferably with prior claims processing and customer service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and engage professionally with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to a dynamic workload.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in claims management systems and MS Office, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with industry regulations is highly valued.
- Immediate Start.
- Potential 3-month extension.
- Rotating Roster: 7 days a week between 8am and 8pm.
- Potential hybrid opportunities – 3 days office / 2 days WFH per week.
