About the Role

Lifeline Australia Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Manager to join their team in Queensland. As a key member of the fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a regional fundraising strategy to drive support and income for the Queensland market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a regional fundraising strategy to grow support and income in corporate and community channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, community groups, and Lifeline members.
  • Deliver high-value community fundraisers and manage the Queensland fundraising website and digital platforms.
  • Plan and manage local delivery of national campaigns, including 'Out of the Shadows' and 'The Push Up Challenge', in the region.
  • Work collaboratively with national Strategic Partnerships teams to identify and secure state-based corporate partnerships.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with potential funders and fundraisers.
  • Work with Lifeline members to leverage national fundraising opportunities within local communities.
  • Develop and implement a range of tools to support member fundraising, with a focus on digital channels.
  • Engage with and develop strong networks and connections locally and regionally with media, community, and business groups.
  • Build and report on annual budgets, ensuring compliance with relevant state-based fundraising legislation and best practice.
About You
  • Demonstrated success in relationship management, community or corporate partnerships fundraising role.
  • Experience of meeting and exceeding revenue targets, retention of relationships, and building community.
  • Depth of experience and knowledge in relationship-based and peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns.
  • Ability to build rapport, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented.
  • Experience of working with diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, delivering to ambitious targets.
  • Demonstrated business development and account management experience.
  • Experience of working with, guiding, and inspiring diverse community members.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to make people feel at ease.
  • Project and event management experience within a fundraising setting.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Highly organized, with ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and persuasive presentation and delivery skills.
  • Ability to undertake overnight travel and work flexible hours.
