Our company is growing fast and we are looking for an exceptional IT professional to lead our automation team. This role requires a deep understanding of both Managed Services and the needs of mid-tier clients.
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering internal systems and automation projects, preferably in an MSP or SaaS-heavy environment. They must also be able to grow, mentor, and manage engineers, as well as drive adoption and make value-based decisions.
- Lead the delivery and adoption of internal systems that reduce toil, speed up delivery, and deliver commercial value.
- Manage a small, talented team and ensure they are engaged, delivering consistently, and with low staff turnover.
- Deliver results by blending off-the-shelf platforms with custom-built automation and AI.
- Evaluate whether to customise, extend, or replace existing systems and make recommendations.
The successful candidate will have a clear playbook for driving adoption, strong understanding of Agile delivery, system ownership, and change management. They must also be confident in ROI modelling, licensing decisions, and impact-led prioritisation.
We offer a competitive salary as part of a great package, hybrid working arrangements, and opportunities for personal and professional development. We welcome applications from Neurodiverse candidates and appreciate disclosure along with the application.
- Technical fluency with APIs, integration design, and security best practices.
- Commercial focus and ability to align all work to commercial returns, staff efficiency, or customer outcomes.
What success looks like:
- Team performance: The team is engaged, delivers consistently, and staff turnover is low.
- Feature adoption: At least 85% of intended users are actively using new features within 90 days of release.
- Return on investment: Each project delivers a clear, measurable benefit within 12 months.
Benefits include competitive salary, hybrid working arrangements, opportunities for personal and professional development, profit share as loyalty incentive for long termers, and regular social events.
