Job Title:

Inventory Management Specialist

Job Description:

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities related to accounts payable and inventory management.

Cash Management:
  • Ensure accurate recording and posting of payments into CODAS systems.
  • Manage all unallocated cash transactions.
Ledger Management:
  • Reconcile monthly statements from suppliers with precision.
  • Oversee debit balances and aged on-hold invoices.
Invoice Processing:
  • Process stock-related invoices in alignment with GRNI requirements.
  • Enter invoices into Softco and initiate approval processes.
Support:
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable Team Leader in process and controls management.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable-related projects and initiatives.
Transaction Stocks:
  • Verify and enter all stock receipts onto CODAS systems accurately.
  • Confirm delivered quantities for previous day's deliveries promptly.
  • Process any stock adjustments onto CODAS systems efficiently.
  • Reconcile daily bulk stocks, identifying and investigating discrepancies.
  • Balance miscellaneous stock reconciliation precisely.
  • Continuously review and improve processes to ensure optimal performance.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Prior experience working in fast-paced, high-volume transactional environments.
  • Strong understanding of supplier statement reconciliations principles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience handling Accounts Payable transactions effectively.
  • Proficient in IT skills, including Excel and ERP systems.
  • Background in managing large transaction volumes and fast-paced work environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all functional aspects of inventory management.
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong relationship-building abilities.
  • IT skills - Strong Excel/ERP proficiency.
