Inventory Management Role

This is a key role in our organization where you will be responsible for the accurate management of inventory records, ensuring stock levels are up to date and discrepancies are minimized.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are up to date and discrepancies are minimized.
  • Conducting regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations to track inventory accuracy.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory variances by liaising with warehouse and production teams.
  • Ensuring proper documentation and reporting of stock adjustments, write-offs, and replenishment orders.
  • Working closely with procurement and operations to manage inventory turnover efficiently.
  • Accurately entering and maintaining inventory transactions, stock movements, and purchase orders in the ERP system.
  • Generating and analyzing inventory and stock reports to support decision-making.
  • Ensuring data integrity and compliance within the ERP system.
  • Processing customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Coordinating with freight providers and warehouse staff to manage inbound and outbound stock movements.
  • Verifying dispatch accuracy and assisting in resolving freight-related issues.
  • Administering weighbridge operations as required.
  • Managing customer inquiries related to inventory availability, deliveries, and orders.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or logistics administration.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (preferably D365).
  • Experience investigating stock variances and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Freight and dispatch coordination experience will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
