Senior People Advisor Job

The role of a Senior People Advisor is pivotal in championing inclusive workplaces, providing expert coaching and advisory services, and leading strategic HR initiatives.

This position requires a strong understanding of cultural development and employee engagement strategies, as well as expertise in coaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultural Development & Engagement: Drive respectful workplaces and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Employee Relations & Support: Provide high-quality coaching and advisory services to leaders and employees.
  • HR Project Implementation: Lead key HR projects with clear communication and strategic alignment.
  • Engagement Activities: Develop and implement onboarding, development planning, diversity and inclusion, and wellness programs.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Deliver accurate and insightful people and engagement reports.
  • Inclusive Culture: Promote diversity, inclusion, and performance-driven results.
  • Compliance: Ensure HR practices meet legislative and organizational standards.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, or Industrial Relations/Employment Relations. They will be skilled in coaching, mentoring, and building strong workplace relationships, knowledgeable in employment legislation, investigations, and HR case management, and comfortable working in dynamic environments.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. The ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions is also crucial.
