Operational Technology Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operational Technology Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership position within our Observing Systems and Operations Program providing specialist advice, direction and guidance on the observing infrastructure architecture and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse team of specialists responsible for the development and design of engineering and technological solutions.
  • Provide specialist advice, direction and guidance on the observing infrastructure architecture and equipment.
  • Engage with industry and stakeholders to continuously improve observations infrastructure.
  • Establish capability, strategy and methods for providing required observations for Bureau services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful applicant will have extensive experience in engineering planning and delivery, advanced stakeholder management capabilities, a high level of management skill together with the ability to distil significant issues from complex material so as to develop workable solutions to problems.
