The Department of Justice & Community Safety is responsible for directing, managing, and operating Victoria's prison system and Post Sentence Scheme. Our agency develops and implements policies, programs, and services to ensure safe and secure containment of prisoners while addressing the underlying causes of offending behaviour.
About the RoleThe Manager, Business Support Services leads and manages a team in delivering business support functions aligned with policy and procedures to support services at Loddon Prisons Precinct.
This position monitors and reports on business services, including fiscal status, analysis of business functions, reporting, and innovation within the business teams at the location.
The Manager, Business Support Services sets the standard for workplace conduct and fosters a culturally safe, integrity-oriented, and respectful work environment.
- Supervise and manage staff across multiple locations, providing leadership and mentoring.
- Ensure high service delivery standards and timelines, meeting specified outcomes, stakeholder expectations, and location needs.
- Plan and prioritize workload, supporting ongoing training and development.
To be successful, you will have:
• Demonstrated experience leading multifunctional teams.
• Knowledge of policies and processes within a state government environment (or similar).
Qualifications/Requirements• A tertiary qualification is desirable.
