The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Improvement Lead to join our team at our Bunbury Pigment Processing Plant.
This is a senior leadership role that involves managing a multi-discipline team of engineers and providing improvement to the business through capital project initiation and concept studies, asset integrity compliance and reliability improvements, and medium to long-term strategic asset management plans.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate and lead business improvement projects, including concept studies and technical support to the Capital Project Management Team.
- Deliver operational readiness for capital projects.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for life cycle management of all site assets.
- Develop and manage 3 to 5 year Life of Asset plans to maintain asset integrity and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance and Reliability function to review and improve equipment strategies and tactics.
- Investigate complex equipment failures and provide solutions to mitigate recurrence.
- Provide strategic direction and drive team performance to deliver tangible outcomes to the business.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- Strong commitment to safe work practices.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
- Asset integrity knowledge in a broad range of equipment.
- Understanding of reliability principles within a chemical processing, manufacturing, or related industry.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory codes and standards for pressure and electrical equipment.
- Understanding of capital project processes and business case development.
- 10+ years of experience in a related industry.
