Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Improvement Engineer to join our team at our Bunbury Operations in Western Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing strategic capital electrical and instrumentation projects for our plants in accordance with Australian engineering codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and support for electrical and instrumentation capital projects.
- Custodian for plant governance and compliance for electrical and instrumentation statutory equipment, methods, and processes.
- Develop and manage medium- to long-term electrical and instrumentation asset management plans to achieve business goals.
- Develop, govern, and maintain systems, processes, and procedures related to electrical and instrumentation of the plant.
- Prepare and administer budgets for electrical and instrumentation projects and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Lead and prepare risk assessments, facilitate root cause analysis of major plant electrical and instrumentation detractors.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Significant postgraduate experience (10+ years) and in-depth knowledge in electrical and instrumentation systems, project management, and Australian engineering codes and standards.
- CPEng or eligible for CPEng accreditation leading to NER Registration will be advantageous.
- High level of organization, time, and project management skills with the ability to multitask and operate effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong technical background in electrical and instrumentation engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
