Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Asset Improvement Lead at our Bunbury Pigment Processing Plant.
This is a senior leadership position managing a multi-discipline team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate and lead business improvement projects, providing technical support to the Capital Project Management Team.
- Deliver Operational Readiness for Capital Projects.
- Develop and implement policy and procedures for life cycle management of site assets.
- Develop and manage 3 to 5 year Life of Asset plans to maintain asset integrity and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Reliability to review and improve equipment strategies and tactics.
- Investigate complex equipment failures and provide solutions to mitigate recurrence.
- Drive team performance to deliver tangible outcomes to the business.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- Strong regard for safe work practices.
- Ability to communicate, network, and build relationships with other business functions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team.
- Asset Integrity knowledge in a broad range of equipment.
- Understanding of Reliability Principles within a chemical processing or manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of relevant regulatory codes and standards.
- Knowledge of Capital Project processes and business case development.
- 10+ years of experience in a related industry.
