About the Opportunity

The BespokeHR team is seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our client, a leading sports organisation in South Australia. As a key member of the Corporate Services Department, you will play a crucial role in providing end-to-end finance functions and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial and management accounting services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage and reconcile financial data, including bank statements, credit card transactions, and account management.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the General Manager and Board of Directors.
  • Support the annual budget setting process and prepare cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile financial data with external platforms, including Archtics and PlayHQ.
  • Manage the preparation of annual audited financial statements and collaborate with external finance professionals.
  • Oversee business administrative functions, including motor vehicle fleet management and IT asset management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including software implementation and automation.
  • Assist with project implementation, including stakeholder management and training.
  • Process fortnightly payroll and manage associated obligations.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a financial role, with a strong ability to prepare financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or commerce, with a CA qualification in progress or completed.
  • Highly developed skills in financial and accounting function management.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage project implementation, including finance and human resource systems.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
