Consunet Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Project Manager to support the Program Management function with the management of project finances. The Financial Project Manager is responsible for providing financial management and oversight of all projects, including the development of appropriate project pricing models, project budget development, cash flow plans, consistent recording and reporting of project financials, coaching and mentoring Project Managers on the use of financial information, monthly reporting and compliance to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Consunet Finance Controller and Program Manager in the development of rate schedules for all projects.
- Management of all financial aspects of assigned projects, including the establishment of new projects in line with the company and contractual financial expectations, ensuring appropriate project-specific finance procedures are in place, monitoring project financial performance, timely and accurate sales and cash forecasting.
- Development of Pricing Models to comply with Company, panel and tender requirements.
- Maintain reconciliation of contract values for all projects and calculate price variation for each contract.
- Managing the development of sales forecasts and the financial inputs for management reporting.
- Maintain revenue recognition information for all projects.
- Conduct analysis of variances between actuals and budget and estimates to complete.
- Provide advice and support on complex project financial matters.
- Providing analysis of sales trading records to identify discrepancies and opportunities for enhancing Consunet's competitiveness.
- Supporting Project Managers in the ongoing achievement of project finance outcomes, assisting in the provision of financial data to support project budgeting decisions.
- Develop and implement, in collaboration with the Program Manager and Financial Controller, the internal project financial governance, and financial accounting requirements.
- Requires a University Degree in finance or accounting, or an appropriate level of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to prioritise and manage projects, including delegation of work and the review of others' work product, as required.
