About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Finance Team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the validation and approval of high-volume marketing vendor invoices and claims, ensuring compliance with our company's financial guidelines. You will also work closely with our management team to develop and improve financial process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Local Government experience is preferred

• Experience in preparing financial statements and reports

• Business Partner experience and collaboration

• TechnologyOne experience and proficiency

• Assisting with audit queries and financial compliance

• Managing a Grants register and financial records

• General accounting duties, including reconciliations, balance sheet management, and accruals

• Year-end duties, including journal entries, accruals, and provisions
