As a Technical Account Manager at Amazon Web Services, you will be a key member of the Enterprise Support team, responsible for leading the success of enterprise support customers in software industries building applications and services on the AWS platform.

You will work backwards from your customer to define a support strategy, deliver expert advice on AWS services, and provide recommendations and proactive advice through all phases of the cloud adoption life cycle.

With demonstrable experience in providing operational best practice guidance in two of the following technical domains: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development, you will be able to clearly articulate and present to small and large audiences.

Key job responsibilities include acting as a single point of contact to Enterprise Accounts, understanding customer outcomes and business goals, making AWS service improvement recommendations, and evaluating and analyzing operational performance.

You will also participate in customer requested meetings, leverage key customer resolution tools, share knowledge and innovate with leading technologists, and work directly with Amazon Web Service engineers to ensure customer issues are resolved as expediently as possible.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in at least two of the following technical domains: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development.

Software Engineering, SRE and/or external customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate and present to small and large audiences.

5+ years of experience in similar roles such as a Senior Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, IT Manager/Engineer or other similar technical roles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Computer Science or Math background.

Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies.

Experience working with AWS technologies.

Solid understanding of technology budget management.
