Environmental Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Environmental Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing our pioneering reverse vending machine installations and bulk processing equipment.

This position involves working with our team to ensure maximum machine uptime and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and servicing installed equipment to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance
  • Reporting on service assignments and faults to ensure timely resolution
  • Installing new kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites
  • Providing excellent customer service to our partners and members of the public
  • Identifying areas of potential improvement in our products and reporting to the local service team
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment to ensure it operates efficiently

To succeed as an Environmental Maintenance Specialist, you will require:

  • A trade certificate or equivalent experience in electrical/electronic maintenance
  • Previous experience with operating systems, installing software, and networking
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact face-to-face with customers
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronic equipment and replacing circuit boards and other components
  • An unrestricted driver's license and willingness to submit a driving history record
  • Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
