Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop current customer portfolio within the assigned product line to achieve sales targets.

  • Develop and maintain account plans in conjunction with the General Manager.
  • Build strong relationships and achieve sales outcomes to meet company objectives.
  • Market the company's services and maintain relationships with clients, both new and existing.
  • Visit clients locally and interstate regularly.
  • Identify new tender opportunities in line with tendering and bid/no-bid processes.
  • Assist the estimating team with tender preparation and submission.
  • Collaborate closely with supply chain partners.
  • Negotiate tenders and follow up on proposals.
  • Support project delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in business development, with a proven ability to drive growth and expand market presence. They will be a skilled communicator, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. A background in the electrical industry is essential, with a trade qualification or tertiary engineering qualification highly desirable.
