A senior research professional with expertise in talent acquisition and development is required to lead our research team.


About the Role

We seek an experienced leader in research and strategy to join our team, drive excellent performance across our hospitals, establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, participate in planning and implementation of annual operational plans, and manage resources effectively.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research strategies, establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships, and leading the planning and implementation of annual operational plans.
  • Manage budgets, identify new revenue streams, and provide advice on ethical, legal, and insurance requirements for researchers ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.

Selection Criteria

We are looking for someone with tertiary qualifications in the medical, biomedical, or life sciences field, extensive experience in managing administrative units, and sound knowledge of Australian law and standards relating to research activity.
