Job Title: Strategic Delivery Lead

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful change, leading the delivery of legislative reform projects within a Queensland Government Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to support the Right to Information Act 2009.
  • Oversee the establishment of a mandatory data breach notification function under the Information Privacy Act 2009.
  • Engage and support other Queensland Government agencies in understanding and adopting new legislative obligations.
  • Ensure project deliverables, objectives, and stakeholder expectations are met through effective project management practices.
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery including resource allocation, risk management, and benefits realisation.
  • Provide regular reporting to project directors and executive sponsors on progress, risks, and milestones.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager delivering legislative change projects within a Queensland Government department.
  • Proven success in managing projects to tight timeframes and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Relevant Project Management certification or qualification.
