About the Opportunity
Certis Security Australia is seeking full-time security officers to provide security services with a government client. We have multiple positions available across various locations, offering a great opportunity to work close to home. As a security officer, you will be responsible for providing static security during daytime hours, Monday to Friday. You will need excellent presentation, great customer service skills, and the ability to manage challenging customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work from instructions and procedures under general supervision, which may not necessarily be at the site where the officer is posted.
- Assist in the provision of on-the-job training.
- Exercise good interpersonal communication skills.
- Manage challenging customers.
- Be responsible for assuring the quality of their own work and act as first response to security incidents or matters.
Qualifications
Mandatory
- Current and applicable Security license with crowd control function.
- Current First aid Certificate with CPR refreshed in the past 12 months.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent resident or Visa holder with full working rights.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 8 hour shifts.
- Ability to meet PEP Clearance requirements.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical.
Experience
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
