Key Responsibilities

As a Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining cloud-based systems, with a focus on Kubernetes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deploying, configuring, and managing Kubernetes clusters
  • Monitoring cluster health, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance
  • Implementing security best practices for Kubernetes environments
  • Working with cloud providers to provision and manage resources
  • Setting up networking, storage, and compute components
  • Automating infrastructure tasks using tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Responding to incidents promptly, diagnosing root causes, and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborating with Applications and Operations teams to resolve issues affecting cloud services
  • Participating in CI/CD pipeline development for application deployment
  • Ensuring smooth releases and updates using Git, ArgoCD, or other CI/CD tools
  • Setting up monitoring solutions to track system performance
  • Creating alerts and dashboards for proactive issue detection
  • Documenting processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
  • Sharing knowledge with team members and contributing to internal documentation

About You

We are looking for an experienced IT professional with strong understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments. You will have knowledge of IT service management concepts and experience with their application in an enterprise work environment supporting both cloud and hybrid on-premises infrastructure configurations. In addition, you will have knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems as well as Linux skills and understanding of network fundamentals. Familiarity with containerization technologies is required to perform well in this role.
