Job Title: Senior Health and Safety Specialist - Rail InfrastructureLocation:

Perth, Western Australia

Job Type: Full-timeEstimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

This role will play a key part in ensuring the health and safety of our workforce and stakeholders on the Midland Station Cale Street Project. You will work closely with the project team to develop and implement health and safety strategies, monitor site conditions, and provide training and guidance to staff.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, particularly in the rail infrastructure sector. They will be able to demonstrate expertise in risk management, hazard identification, and incident investigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans and procedures for the project
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety policies and procedures
  • Investigate incidents and near misses to identify causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate risks to health and safety
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in health and safety, preferably in the rail infrastructure sector
  • Strong knowledge of Australian health and safety laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
