The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Health, Safety, and Environment Advisor to join our team working on the Mardie Salt Potash Project based in the Pilbara region, working on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth.

This exciting marine project involves the design, supply, fabrication, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of a piled 2.4 km jetty structure with head-end platform, berthing, and mooring dolphins.

The Senior Health, Safety, and Environment Advisor will collaborate with our HSE team, playing a key role in providing leadership and support on health, safety, and environment matters to project personnel.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving project health and safety targets and establishing a strong health and safety culture
  • Familiarity with and provision of advice on relevant health and safety laws and regulations applicable to works undertaken
  • Reporting on health and safety matters to various internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaising with and advising construction personnel on risk mitigation and management
  • Ensuring subcontractor understanding and compliance
  • Conducting audits and identifying areas for improvement
  • Collating, analysing, and interpreting health and safety data
  • Completing investigations, including ICAM process as required
  • Reviewing site risk registers and supporting Construction Risk Assessment Workshops (CRAWs) as necessary
  • Continuously reviewing on-site work practices, materials conditions, plant, and equipment to identify potential health and safety hazards
