Senior Health and Safety Professional

About the Role:
- Promote and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all personnel on site.
- Assist in implementing the Health and Safety Management System, Major Hazard Program, and Project Safety Strategy.
- Engage with Leaders to provide advice on achieving strategic objectives for HS performance.
- Coach and mentor team members and contractors to achieve confidence and competence in safety compliance and assurance activities.
- Investigate incidents, determine actions using the Hierarchy of Controls, and assist contractors as needed.
- Be actively involved in Contractor Management for site-based activities.
- Prepare and present health and safety initiatives and promotional materials.
- Support the Project team with completing KPIs and managing BMS for incidents under their control.
About You:

- Problem-solve and make practical decisions in high-stress environments.
- Manage work hours effectively, prioritize deliverables, and stay within position boundaries and safety strategy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current C or CA Class Western Australian Driver's License or equivalent.
- Experience in Construction and Mining Projects.
- ICAM Lead Investigator.
- Internal Auditor Qualified.
Salary and Benefits: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, including a comprehensive benefits package, company vehicle, and professional development opportunities.
Location: Pilbara, Western Australia.
