Crane Technician Job Description

This is a challenging role that involves working in the field across various locations, including Darwin and North Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, repairing or overhauling cranes, performing major and minor services, and diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.

  • Diagnose and repair crane issues
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs and component replacements
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systems

For this role we are looking for someone who has:

  • Trade qualification in Electrical or Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and work overtime as required
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations
  • Commitment to maintain and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

As a Crane Technician you will have the opportunity to expand and maintain customer relationships in the field, complete service reporting and manufacturers documentation, and contribute to the success of our organisation.
