Coastal Infrastructure Engineer

This role involves leading the design of coastal infrastructure across Australia, including jetties, marinas, wharves, boat ramps, breakwaters, seawalls, revetments, and other coastal protection structures.

You will act as a Project Manager for small to large-scale projects and lead engagement with end clients.

As part of a diverse team, you will contribute to various coastal and offshore projects working with engineers, scientists, and experts in GIS and approvals.

You will also be responsible for providing technical leadership in the maritime structures area, conducting internal reviews, and contributing to the development of templates and workflows.

Additionally, you will provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced team members, write proposals, and support business development and customer relationship management.

  • Develop and implement designs for coastal infrastructure, ensuring they meet environmental and sustainability standards.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and specialists, to deliver complex coastal and offshore projects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with regulations.
