Job Opportunity: Infrastructure Project Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Project Specialist to support the investigation, planning, and delivery of maintenance and construction works across various civil assets. This includes roads, drainage, coastal, and public domain infrastructure.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate asset condition and performance to recommend remedial works
  • Assist with planning and implementation of civil infrastructure maintenance programs
  • Manage external contractors and suppliers in line with contract specifications and standards
  • Provide technical engineering support across teams for planning, capital works, and emergency response
  • Liaise with residents, utilities, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication on projects
  • Ensure works are delivered within time and quality frameworks

You Will Bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in investigation, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects
  • A strong understanding of road, drainage, coastal, and public infrastructure assets
  • Familiarity with local government standards, regulations, and contract management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
