Job Title: Category Management Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Category Management Specialist. As a key member of our category management team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic category plans that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute category strategies that align with our business objectives;
  • Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of category plans;
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform category decisions;
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth product flow and timely delivery;
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date product information and category knowledge;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of in-store visual merchandising displays and promotional programs;
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and provide excellent support to customers and colleagues.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 8 years of experience in category management or a related field;
  • A bachelor's degree in business or marketing;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
