Program Manager Role Overview

The position of Program Manager is a key role within the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of educators to deliver high-quality programs for children with complex disabilities.

Our OSHC program is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children and families. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Program Manager who can help us achieve our goals and make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality programs for children with complex disabilities
  • Plan and prepare child-focused programs that meet the needs of each participant
  • Foster a positive team culture through coaching, training, and reflective practice
  • Rostering for the service with support from the Area Manager
  • Manage compliance documents and other administrative tasks
  • Liaise with families, school teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure individualized care
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A recognized qualification in teaching, childcare, or community services
  • Experience leading teams in disability, education, or community services
  • Confidence in behavioral management for children with high and complex needs
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
