Out-of-Hours Operations Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of After Hours Coordinator. This position requires effective leadership and promotes a high standard of professional practice, while ensuring efficient clinical and organisational services out of hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work autonomously in an out-of-hours capacity
- Manage staffing and utilise shift communication tools
- Elevate demands for clinical and non-clinical issues to ensure staff and patient/resident safety
- Coordinate hospital emergencies, Medical Emergency Team Calls and codes
- Routine rounding and communication with acute ward, Theatre, UCC, aged care, maternity and home nursing teams
- Make informed decisions with support from senior management
- Collaborate with senior management team members
- Contribute to decision-making within the clinical team/setting
- Provide resources to staff and areas out of hours
