This role presents an opportunity for a seasoned professional to establish and maintain a comprehensive risk governance strategy and framework.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with senior leadership and various business units to embed risk considerations into strategic initiatives and operational processes, establishing and maintaining integrated reporting mechanisms, supporting the development and delivery of training programs, and acting as a liaison with regulatory bodies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for engaging effectively with senior executives and Boards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management systems, frameworks, and compliance requirements, as well as a proactive approach to continuous improvement and a commitment to fostering a robust risk culture within the organization.
Required qualifications include a university-level qualification in finance, law, business management, economics or equivalent, and proven experience in governance, regulatory compliance or legal areas, particularly within the financial services sector in Australia, New Zealand or the United Kingdom.
