  3. Maintain a strong and compliant Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) system
  4. Partner with the business on implementing an enhanced data management framework

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with a bank's or insurer's Risk Management Framework and/or Compliance Framework, including experience in operational risk management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and build credibility amongst peers while being customer-service oriented
  • Experience in general insurance, LMI, and/or banking is preferred but not essential

About this role

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk management principles and practices. They will be responsible for assisting the CRO with maintaining key elements of the risk management framework, including risk policies, the risk register, and risk reporting.

This role requires a strong and compliant Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) system, which the successful candidate will maintain. They will also partner with the business on implementing an enhanced data management framework.

A minimum of 5 years' experience working with a bank's or insurer's Risk Management Framework and/or Compliance Framework is required, as well as experience in operational risk management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, with the ability to negotiate and build credibility amongst peers while being customer-service oriented.

Experience in general insurance, LMI, and/or banking is preferred but not essential.
